One of the wonderful qualities of our amazing new Mito-Life Energy Protocol is it is completely natural. This is the way nature intends to supply our energy. So, what do we mean by nature or natural?
After all, big business is aware that many people are tired, fatigued, dragging and want some energy help. In reply, they have produced many ‘energy’ products that people spend a lot of money on. The “chronic fatigue epidemic” is driving the rising popularity of these energy-boosting products.
However, as you are aware:
Most of the “energy boosters” involve
caffeine, sugar, or nicotine products!
Yet, people purchase these energy drinks, coffee, caffeine pills, nicotine products (and even drugs) to help stay awake and active. Yes, these things can help in the short term but, overused (which is very easy to do), they can also take a tremendous toll on the body!
There are hundreds of studies and warnings about these stimulants. However, it is pretty obvious to most people what gallons of coffee, sugar, diabetes and weight gain, and addiction to nicotine can do to people. Yet, we want more energy so it is a “Catch 22” choice.
Even with all these warnings, some people will say, “Wait a minute. These are natural products. Caffeine, sugar and nicotine are natural in plants. How can you say your “natural” energy protocol is better”?
It’s a good question to ask, so let’s take a look.
Caffeine
Caffeine is in quite a few leaves, teas and is especially strong in coffee. Yes, it does provide quite an energy boost (our brain also requires energy). Yet coffee did not develop as a world beverage until the last few centuries.
The point is our bodies were not designed to use caffeine as the source of energy. Our bodies were not meant to run on caffeine!
There is a balance here. Some stimulation from caffeine and other natural stimulants may be acceptable, in moderation, for different purposes. There are also additional nutrients often connected with the plant sources that are beneficial. But caffeine was never meant to be the foundation of our energy or life!
Sugar
Many people don’t realize it but granulated sugar is also a relatively recent invention in human history. There have always been honey and sweet plants for people to enjoy but never in the concentrated sugar form available today.
Quite simply, our bodies were never designed to handle the extreme amounts of sugar (compared to what is normal in nature) some people consume in drinks, candy and sweet foods. Excess amounts of sugar can manifest in many different illnesses from hyperactivity to weight gain.
As before, a little may be acceptable – but it is pretty easy for a little to become too much! The mental/physical addiction can also be almost as strong as other stimulants. This, too, is not meant to be the source of our body’s energy.
Nicotine
We really don’t need to go into all the severe potential results of nicotine. There are plenty of others filling that role. Our purpose here is to simply state that the difficulty of nicotine addiction shows how strong a stimulant nicotine is.
Most people are aware of the other complications that come from nicotine that confirm the dangers of overuse. Obviously, nicotine is also not designed by nature to be our natural source of energy.
What is the ‘Natural’ Source of Energy?
Most of the people reading this article know about the abuse potential of the stimulants above – or they wouldn’t be taking the time to read it. And it’s true. Our basic, steady production of energy for all life functions are meant to come from a different source. It does not have negative side effects because it’s …well… Natural.
We’re talking about the little energy factories in our body called mitochondria. They produce the all-important ATP form of energy all life depends on. This is what all life on Earth has “naturally” used for energy since the beginning.
